Rosario is a contemporary abstract artist born in Mexico, and based in Vancouver and Mexico. Curious by nature and with a background in design & film productions, Rosario has found a way to dive into new experiences through abstract painting. Through the canvas, she explores ideas and concepts that help her to process emotions, thoughts, ideas, and feelings while enjoying new dimensions and scales by blending nostalgia and everyday life. Through her painting, Rosario learns to be honest with herself, even when the result is abstract.
Rosario studied digital media and design at the Northern Alberta Institute of Technology. This program helped her understand the production process and made her move after graduating to Vancouver, B.C. Since then she has worked for multiple film & tv productions in different positions swimming from job to job in the pool of the creative industry finding interest in the direction of production design and therefore being lucky enough to find wonderful mentors throughout time.
As an art director, she carries many titles by being a self-taught and a self-driven, person and as of lately deepening her knowledge by completing a bachelor’s in interior design. Her creative curiosity grows by the day, finding passion in live events projects and following her role as a creative director.
